Governor Sule receives Senator Evulu'Anza, Nasarawa North stakeholders after by-election victory
Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State on Tuesday received Senator Danladi Halilu Evulu'Anza alongside key stakeholders from the Nasarawa North Senatorial District during a thank-you visit following the recently concluded senatorial by-election.
The delegation visited the Government House in Lafia to express appreciation to the governor for his support before, during and after the by-election, which saw Senator Evulu'Anza emerge victorious as the successor to the late Senator Godiya Akwashiki.
The visit underscored what the stakeholders described as Governor Sule's commitment to the success of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State and his role in ensuring party unity throughout the electoral process.
Supporters and party leaders from Akwanga, Nasarawa Eggon and Wamba Local Government Areas attended the event, reaffirming their support for both the governor and the newly elected senator.
The gathering took place at the Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, where party faithful, political associates and well-wishers assembled to celebrate the senator's emergence and acknowledge the governor's backing.
The atmosphere at the venue reflected the APC's renewed confidence in the Nasarawa North Senatorial District following the successful conclusion of the by-election.
Senator Evulu'Anza was elected to complete the tenure of the late Senator Godiya Akwashiki, whose passing created the vacancy in the Senate.
The visit also served as an opportunity for party stakeholders to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening cooperation between elected representatives and the state government in advancing development across Nasarawa State.
