Correction Policy

Corrections Policy

Prime Brief Media is committed to publishing accurate journalism and correcting mistakes openly, promptly, and transparently.

Last Updated: June 2026

Accuracy is at the core of our journalism. While we strive to ensure every report is verified before publication, mistakes can occasionally occur. When they do, we correct them quickly, clearly, and without attempting to conceal the original error.

Our Commitment

We do not silently edit published articles. Whenever a factual error is identified and verified, we publish a visible correction notice—normally within 24 hours of confirming the error. We do not remove articles simply to avoid accountability. Instead, we update the story, explain what has changed, and preserve transparency with our readers.

What We Correct

  • Incorrect names, dates, figures, locations, or factual events.
  • Misquotations or inaccurate representation of a person's statement.
  • Headlines that inaccurately reflect the content of the article.
  • Materially outdated information that significantly changes the meaning of a published report.

How Corrections Are Published

Whenever a correction is made, a correction notice is added to the top or bottom of the affected article.

CORRECTION [Date]

An earlier version of this article stated [incorrect information]. This has been corrected to [correct information]. We regret the error.
Transparency Matters
The article's URL remains unchanged. Both the original publication date and the updated date remain visible to readers.

Opinion articles express the personal views of individual contributors and should not be interpreted as the editorial position of Prime Brief Media.

However, where an opinion article contains a demonstrably false factual statement, we will add a correction or editor's note explaining the error.
