Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia on Thursday attended the official inauguration of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Door-to-Door Movement, a political mobilisation initiative aimed at galvanising nationwide support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027.
The event was held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, and brought together political leaders, government officials and supporters from across the country.
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement was founded and sponsored by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo.
According to the organisers, the initiative seeks to mobilise millions of Nigerians through grassroots engagement in support of President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Governor Alia attended the inauguration alongside former Benue State Governor Sen. Gabriel Suswam, Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga, and other senior government officials from Benue State.
Their presence underscored Benue's participation in the national political event, which attracted prominent political stakeholders from different parts of the country.
Organisers said the movement would focus on door-to-door engagement, community mobilisation and voter outreach as part of preparations for the next general election.
