Troops of the Nigerian Army, operating under Operation Hadin Kai and other joint task forces, have foiled multiple terrorist attacks and rescued several kidnapped persons in different operations conducted across the northern part of the country in the last 24 hours.
According to an operational report released on Monday, troops intercepted suspected logistics supplies meant for insurgents, destroyed terrorist hideouts, and neutralised several fighters during engagements in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
In the Northwest theatre, operations were conducted in the Birnin Gwari axis of Kaduna State and parts of Zamfara State, where troops engaged bandits and rescued abducted victims. The report also noted the recovery of weapons and ammunition from fleeing criminals.
The Army reassured Nigerians of its commitment to restoring peace and security across all troubled regions, urging citizens to continue providing credible intelligence to security agencies.
