The race for the Plateau State governorship election in 2027 has gained a new entrant with the formal declaration of retired naval officer Commander Yilchini Jan Bida, who will contest on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

Commander Bida made his declaration at Kabwir Federal Ward in Kanke Local Government Area on Friday, surrounded by supporters, community leaders, and party stalwarts.
