Senate orders crackdown on bandits flaunting crime cash on TikTok

The National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, has made an impassioned plea for divine intervention and national action, declaring that Nigeria must be rescued from the escalating violence that has claimed thousands of innocent lives.

Bishop Oke made the declaration on Sunday at the conclusion of a three-day national prayer programme held at the PFN's national prayer camp in Lagos. The event drew thousands of worshippers from across the country and was dedicated to interceding for Nigeria's security, economy, and leadership.

"We have lost our sense of the sacredness of human life. People are killed every day as if they were nothing. Nigeria must be rescued from terror. We must pray, but we must also act. Our leaders must rise to their responsibilities," the PFN President said.

He called on the Federal Government to overhaul the nation's security architecture, invest heavily in intelligence gathering, and address the root causes of violence, including poverty, unemployment, and the breakdown of family values. He also urged the Church to remain vigilant and to support victims of violence with material and spiritual assistance.
