KATSINA GOVERNOR CONFIDENT OF APC VICTORY IN 2027

Katsina, Katsina State – By Prime Brief Media

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has expressed unshakeable confidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections, citing the party's strong performance, internal unity, and the transformative reform agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Radda made the remarks on Thursday while addressing party stakeholders and local government chairmen at the Government House in Katsina.

"Let no one be deceived by the noise of opposition defections and mergers. The APC remains the only party with a clear vision, a solid track record, and the organisational capacity to win elections at all levels," Radda declared. He pointed to ongoing infrastructure projects, security improvements, and economic reforms as evidence that the party is delivering on its promises to the Nigerian people.

The governor urged APC members in Katsina State and across the country to remain steadfast, warning against complacency. "We must not take victory for granted. We must mobilise from ward to ward, household to household, to ensure that every eligible voter understands what is at stake and turns out to vote for continuity," he said.

Katsina State, the home state of former President Muhammadu Buhari, remains a stronghold of the APC. However, the opposition Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), buoyed by the defection of Rabiu Kwankwaso and other prominent northern politicians, is expected to mount a significant challenge in the North-West region. Governor Radda dismissed the opposition's chances, saying, "The people of Katsina know who has their interests at heart. They will not be swayed by empty promises."

The governor also used the occasion to commend President Tinubu for his commitment to tackling insecurity, particularly banditry and kidnapping, which have plagued parts of the North-West. He said the deployment of additional troops and new security technology is yielding positive results.
