KWANKWASO DISMISSES CLAIMS HE IS WORKING FOR TINUBU

Kano, Kano State – By Prime Brief Media

Former Kano State Governor and leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has categorically denied allegations that he is secretly working for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Addressing his supporters in Kano on Thursday, Kwankwaso described the claims, which have circulated on social media and in some political circles, as the work of "mischief makers and political opponents who are afraid of the growing strength of our movement."

"I am not working for Tinubu. I have never worked for Tinubu, and I will not work for Tinubu. My commitment to the NDC, to Peter Obi, and to the cause of rescuing Nigeria is total and unshakeable. These lies will not distract us," Kwankwaso declared.

The former governor's alliance with Peter Obi under the NDC platform is seen as one of the most significant political developments ahead of the 2027 elections. Some analysts have suggested that a split opposition benefits the ruling APC, leading to speculation that certain opposition figures might be covertly aiding the status quo.

Kwankwaso's strong denial is aimed at reassuring his base and the wider opposition coalition of his fidelity to the cause of change.
