NDC NOT A ONE-MAN SHOW — OBI ASSURES ASPIRANTS

Abuja, FCT – By Prime Brief Media

Former Anambra State Governor and presidential aspirant Peter Obi has moved to reassure members of the Nigeria Democratic Congress that the party remains a democratic platform where all voices matter, insisting it is "not a one-man show."

Obi gave the assurance on Tuesday while addressing aspirants who had gathered at the party's national secretariat for an interactive session. He said the NDC is committed to building a broad-based political movement that represents the aspirations of ordinary Nigerians.

"The NDC belongs to all of us. Those who secure tickets and those who do not are all part of this movement. No sacrifice will be in vain. We are building something new, something democratic, something that will outlast any individual," Obi said.

The NDC has attracted a significant number of aspirants for various elective positions, including the presidency. The party has zoned its presidential ticket to the South and is expected to hold its national convention in the coming weeks. Obi's alliance with former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso has significantly boosted the party's national profile.
