Senate orders crackdown on bandits flaunting crime cash on TikTok

Vice President Kashim Shettima has declared Nigeria's readiness to deepen bilateral cooperation with Poland across a range of strategic sectors, including the digital economy, defence, agriculture, and ship-building.

Shettima made the declaration on Thursday during a meeting with the Polish Deputy Prime Minister at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. He said the economic reforms implemented by President Bola Tinubu have created a more conducive environment for foreign investment and international partnerships.

"President Tinubu has unlocked the full potential of the Nigerian economy. We are open for business, and we see Poland as a valued partner. There are immense opportunities in technology, agriculture, and defence manufacturing that we can explore together," Shettima said.

The Polish Deputy Prime Minister expressed his country's interest in expanding trade and investment ties with Nigeria, noting that Polish companies have expertise in areas that align with Nigeria's development priorities. Both countries agreed to establish a joint working group to identify specific projects for collaboration.
